Job Summary
Adjunct Professor openings in the School of Arts & Sciences at Mount St. Joseph University. Courses may cover music, art, design, communication studies, writing, literature, religious studies, history, philosophy, Spanish, and American Sign Language. Duties include course instruction, grading, monitoring participation, maintaining open communication with students and colleagues, adhering to FERPA, using technology in teaching, and participating in department/ university processes. This pooled position remains open with opportunities notified as specific openings arise. Requires a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline (or a Bachelor’s with at least two years of relevant professional experience), evidence of teaching excellence or professional experience, and willingness to provide references and undergo background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree with 18 graduate hours in the appropriate discipline, or Bachelor's Degree with at least two years of relevant professional experience
- Experience: Evidence of past teaching excellence and/or relevant professional experience
