Job Summary
Teach basic courses and laboratories in physics based on the needs of the college, including lower-level general physics lectures and labs. Perform other duties as needed. This role supports the Department of Mathematics and Physics at Houston Christian University, a Christian liberal arts university dedicated to moral character and biblical worldview. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Physics with at least 18 graduate semester hours, with a Doctorate and demonstrated teaching record preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics
- at least 18 graduate semester hours in Physics
- acceptance and affirmation of the Preamble to the By-Laws of the University, Scripture and a Christian Worldview, and the Ten Pillars Core Convictions of HCU
- submit a background check form authorizing screening
