Job Summary
Instruction in Clinical Skills for the Physicianship Track focusing on hands-on student training in history and physical assessment, diagnostic testing, and procedural skills. Develop clinical scenarios for standardized patient assessment and simulation education; assist in student testing, remediation, and monitoring progress toward graduation. Teach in assigned courses and participate in distance-learning technologies. Position located in Wichita, KS; part-time adjunct professor role at Kansas Health Science University with generous benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Health professional with DO, MD, Paramedic, APN, PA
- Clinical experience providing direct patient care in their specialty
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn course management software/distance learning technologies
