Job Summary
Prepare and deliver engaging history coursework in accordance with approved syllabi and the college's core values. Teach face-to-face on one or more campuses, including potential evening, weekend, and dual credit assignments. Maintain professional standards and adhere to all college policies and Texas Education Code requirements. This security-sensitive role requires in-person work with a criminal background check. Applicants must attach qualifying transcripts to their application.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in history
- Master's degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in History; American Studies, or Humanities
- Teaching experience
- In-person work at a campus or other location of Collin College
- No remote or telecommuting arrangements
- Face-to-face instruction
- Criminal background check
- Fingerprinting with the TX DPS (if selected for dual credit course)
