Job Summary
Prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to the college's core values and culturally responsive teaching. Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes, following approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty. Assignments may occur on one or more campuses or off-site locations, including evening and weekend programs, with a focus on in-person work at Collin College. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining all standards in accordance with college policies and procedures. Submit qualifying transcripts with your application, as faculty positions are posted based on anticipated need and student enrollment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences
- Master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate hours in discipline/qualifying fields
- Master's degree in Animal Science
- Master's degree in Horticulture
- Master's degree in Agroecology
- Master's degree in Sustainable Agriculture
- Master's degree in Agricultural Education
- Master's degree in Agricultural Leadership
- Master's degree in Agricultural Business and Communications
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Master's degree in Construction Science
- Master's degree in Architecture
- In-person work at a campus or other location of Collin College
- No remote or telecommuting arrangements
- On-site duties
- Conferred transcripts
- Criminal background check
- Fingerprinting with the TX DPS (if selected for dual credit course)
