Job Summary

Teach assigned yoga courses, including day, night, and online classes at the main campus and extension centers, while maintaining punctuality and full allotted time. Facilitate student learning by establishing an effective environment, preparing and submitting reports on student progress, and grading assignments meaningfully to promote growth. Provide educational assistance during posted office hours or by appointment, encourage survey completion, and maintain professional expertise through compliance training. Submit unofficial transcripts when applying and demonstrate ability to work with diverse populations. Ability to travel to all campus locations required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in discipline or closely related field
  • yoga certification
  • Prefer teaching experience at the college level
  • Demonstrated ability to work with varying populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
  • Experience with instructional technology
  • Responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning
  • committed to student recruitment, retention and success

  • use of instructional delivery modes utilizing both traditional and non-traditional methodology
  • Teach assigned course which may include day, night, and online courses, as well as at the main campus and extension centers
  • Classes are to meet on time for the full allotted time

  • Prepare, submit and maintain reports related to student learning
  • Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth
