Job Summary
Conduct instruction and facilitate student learning for assigned courses, including day, night, and online classes at main campus and extension centers. Prepare, submit, and maintain reports related to student learning while grading assignments meaningfully and returning them in a timely manner. Establish an effective learning environment that maximizes documented student success through assessment, curriculum development, and utilization of both traditional and non-traditional instructional delivery modes. Provide educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment and encourage completion of student opinion surveys to assist with increasing student success. Maintain professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training, while performing other duties as assigned. Ability to travel to all campus locations required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in discipline
- 18 credits in the specific discipline
- Ability to work with all populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
- Speak in English via Phone or In Person
- Close, Distance, Peripheral, and Color Vision along with Depth Perceptions
- Ability to Adjust and Focus
- Ability to travel to all campus locations
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer teaching experience at the college level
- Experience with instructional technology
