Job Summary
Conduct instruction and facilitate student learning for assigned courses, including day, night, and online classes at the main campus and extension centers. Prepare, submit, and maintain reports related to student learning while grading assignments meaningfully and returning them in a timely manner. Establish an effective learning environment that maximizes documented student success through assessment, curriculum development, and instructional delivery using both traditional and non-traditional methodologies. Provide educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment and encourage student opinion survey completion to assist with increasing student success. Maintain levels of professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training, while performing other duties as assigned in a normal office environment with the ability to travel to all campus locations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in discipline or 18 credits in the specific discipline
- Five years teaching experience
- Prefer teaching experience at the college level
- Demonstrated ability to work with various populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
- Experience with instructional technology preferred
- Responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning

- Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth

Desired Qualifications
