Job Summary
Teach assigned Physical Education & Recreation courses, including day, night, and online classes at the main campus and extension centers. Establish an effective learning environment while delivering instruction using both traditional and non-traditional methodologies. Prepare, submit, and maintain reports on student learning; grade assignments meaningfully and return them timely to promote growth. Provide educational assistance during office hours or by appointment and encourage student survey completion to inform success initiatives. Submit unofficial transcripts when applying and maintain professional knowledge through required compliance training. Ability to travel to all campus locations required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in discipline or closely related field
- Teaching experience at the college level
- Demonstrated ability to work with varying populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
- Experience with instructional technology preferred
- Responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning

- Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth
