Job Summary
Teach assigned courses, including day, night, and online classes at the main campus and extension centers, while delivering the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance curriculum. Establish an effective learning environment that maximizes documented student success, prepare and maintain reports on student outcomes, and grade assignments meaningfully to promote continued growth. Provide educational assistance during office hours or by appointment, delegate classroom responsibilities to guest speakers as needed, and encourage student opinion survey completion to inform program improvements. Work evenings and weekends as necessary to meet institutional deadlines.

- Accountable for delivering the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance curriculum
- Evaluates each segment of the curriculum
- Works with the Internship Coordinator to insure meaningful educational experiences for students
- On site and available during 100% of classroom teaching time
- May delegate classroom responsibilities to guest speakers as needed for enhanced student learning
- Candidates must meet the requirements for training by the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance and have completed the training
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in public health
- demonstrate ability to develop and use instructional technology

- Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth
