Adjunct Pool College Success Center Instructor

Job Summary
Teach assigned courses including developmental mathematics, English, reading, and College Success seminars across day, night, online, and multiple campus locations. Establish effective learning environments, prepare and maintain student learning reports, and grade assignments meaningfully while meeting institutional deadlines. Provide educational assistance during office hours or by appointment, conduct and review student opinion surveys, and maintain professional expertise. Work in a normal office environment with detailed, deadline-oriented tasks involving student contact and problem situations. Ability to travel to all campus locations required.
Required Qualifications

- use of instructional delivery modes utilizing both traditional and non-traditional methodology
- Teaching developmental mathematics courses
- English instruction in conference-led classes and the classroom
- Developmental & 100 Level Reading
- Teaching College Success Seminar (CSS 100A)
- help students develop the skills and abilities necessary to become successful college students
- Minimum two years' professional experience in industry
- Teaching experience at the college level
- demonstrated ability to work with various populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
- experience with instructional technology
- knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement innovative teaching strategies
- Master's Degree in Math or Education with an emphasis in Math
- Master's Degree in English
- Master's Degree in Reading
- Master's Degree (Education or Psychology preferred)
- Ability to travel to all campus locations required
- Speak in English via Phone or In Person
- Close, Distance, Peripheral, and Color Vision along with Depth Perceptions
- Ability to Adjust and Focus
