Job Summary
Teach assigned courses including Phil 101 in-person at Fremont and Grand Haven campuses, as well as day, night, and online classes at the Muskegon Campus and extension centers. Facilitate student learning through traditional and non-traditional instructional methods while preparing, submitting, and maintaining reports on student progress. Grade assignments meaningfully, return work timely, and assign final grades meeting institutional deadlines. Provide educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment, encourage survey completion, and maintain professional expertise with required compliance training. Ability to travel to all campus locations required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in discipline
- 18 credits in the specific discipline
- Ability to work with various populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
- Speak in English via Phone or In Person
- Close, Distance, Peripheral, and Color Vision along with Depth Perceptions
- Ability to Adjust and Focus
- Ability to travel to all campus locations
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer teaching experience at the college level
- Experience with instructional technology
