Job Summary
Adjunct Nursing positions at Bergen Community College involve teaching in the Nursing program (Adult Med Surg) with responsibilities including instruction across classroom, skills/simulation labs, and clinical settings. Applicants should have a Master’s in Nursing, NJ RN licensure, at least three years of clinical experience, and ideally one year of college-level teaching or educator experience. Teaching availability is required for both Nursing Day and Nursing Evening programs, with designated course availability in NUR-281 Cardiac & Respiratory and NUR-183 Nursing Concepts and Skills. The program uses CAI and simulators and is approved by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing and accredited by ACEN; adjuncts may receive pay per credit and access tuition waivers. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current NJ RN License
- three (3) years of current clinical experience
- one year of college level teaching in an accredited Nursing program or educator experience preferred
- Must be available for the Nursing Day program

- Must be available for the Nursing Evening program
