Job Summary
Adjunct opportunities in the Mathematics department for Fall and Winter 2026 at Bergen Community College. Roles include teaching Mathematics at the college level and Developmental level, with responsibilities aligned to promoting problem solving, applications, and use of technology in mathematical problem solving. Minimum education for College Level is a Master’s degree ( Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education ) with related graduate credits; Developmental Level requires a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. Adjuncts are compensated at $960 per credit for those holding a Master’s, with tuition waiver benefits and retirement plan options (ABP and 403b). Positions are part-time and based in Paramus, NJ. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education (must include at least 18 graduate level credits in Mathematics courses)
- At least one year of College-level teaching experience preferred
- Developmental Level: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or related field; one year of teaching experience
