Job Summary
Teach and evaluate students in clinical settings, including Med Surg, Fundamentals, OB/Maternal Health, Pediatrics, and Mental Health courses with day, evening, or overnight shift options. Create engaging learning environments that support academic progression while assessing student learning, providing timely feedback, and supporting remediation for at-risk students. Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery, student success plans, and program evaluation. Maintain accurate documentation, comply with FERPA and college policies, and coach students on leadership, ethics, and critical thinking. Begin on-site assignments on or after August 31, 2026, at the Chesapeake, VA campus.
Required Qualifications
- Master's- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree
- 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience
- Flexibility to teach clinicals required
Desired Qualifications
- Flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum
