Job Summary
Prepare and deliver academic instruction in piano and basic musicianship, including developing syllabi, content, and administering assessments. Maintain class records for financial aid compliance, participate in student grade appeal procedures, and post conference hours. Assess student learning and reporting according to the assessment plan while advising students and maintaining office hours. Offerings include morning, afternoon, evening, and online formats. Submit transcripts from all institutions attended.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in music, music education, or related area
- Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in one of these areas
- Music certifications
- Experience
- All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university
- Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members
