Job Summary
Adjunct Music Instructor positions for Violin in Grammar School and Upper School String Ensemble. Teach music lessons during and/or after school hours as part of the school’s music program. Requires candidates to hold or be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in music and to have experience teaching music. Must be able to engage with Covenant Christian Academy’s distinctly Christian and classical teaching model and be willing to commit to two years or more. Compensation is $27 per half-hour lesson with no benefits, totaling 28 lessons over the school year. Schedule is flexible, with a requirement to be on campus at least one to two days per week (potentially more depending on student interest). Submit a cover letter and resume to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in music or currently pursuing one
- experience teaching music in relevant area
- ability to engage in Christian and classical teaching model
- commitment to teaching for two years or more
- ability to schedule around after-school hours and school calendar
