Part-time Adjunct Lecturer to teach an on-campus graduate course in Introduction to Blockchain, Crypto-currencies & Analytics for the Applied Analytics MS program. The course covers blockchains and crypto-currencies, cryptographic protocols, hashing, digital signatures, blockchain chaining, decentralization via proof of work mining, and smart contracts. Requires a Doctoral degree related to analytics/CS/IT, solid statistics background, ML concepts, and proficiency in R and Python, with professional experience in analytics and crypto/blockchain; 2+ years teaching at graduate level preferred; salary range is $11,000-$13,000 per semester (annualized to $22,000-$26,000 assuming two semesters per year).
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in an area related to applied analytics, computer science, or information technology
- Solid knowledge and academic foundation in statistics
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Proficiency in R and Python programming
- Professional experience and demonstrated success in a role involving applied analytics, crypto, blockchain
