Adjunct Lecturer for Biotechnology (Analytical Chemistry)

BI212 Analytical Chemistry is taught to associate-degree students in biotechnology. The Adjunct Lecturer will review, update or develop course materials (syllabus, slide sets, worksheets, quizzes, exams) and teach the in-person, 3-credit BI 212 course for Fall 2026 (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 PM–8:00 PM) at the Franklin Cummings Tech campus in Boston. Responsibilities include meeting all scheduled classes, maintaining three office hours per week (online allowed), notifying the Program Chair of absences, participating in curriculum development and student-outcome assessment, using approved texts and materials, timely communication with the chair and department, prompt responses to students, evaluating student achievement in Canvas, completing the Growing with Canvas Adjunct course, providing student support and maintaining professional rapport, and collaborating with other departments.
