Job Summary
The Adjunct Instructor - Studio Art at Tarleton State University will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lectures and laboratory offerings to undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates will develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, assign assessments, engage students in active learning, and provide academic support through office hours. This part-time faculty position requires at least a master's degree in Studio Art or a closely related field, as well as strong communication skills. Successful applicants may be tasked with teaching up to six semester credit hours per semester in-person or online.
Required Qualifications
- Earned master's degree in Studio Art or a closely related field from an accredited university with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

- Earned doctorate/terminal degree in Studio Art or a closely related field from an accredited university with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
- Previous online teaching experience at the collegiate level
