Job Summary
Candidates are invited to apply for adjunct appointments in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Oregon University. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focus on areas such as I/O, learning and memory, behavioral neuropsychology, personality, Counseling Theory, and Assessment. Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field, with demonstrated teaching potential. Additionally, experience in online teaching methodologies is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field
- Demonstrated teaching potential
- Familiarity with the appropriate equipment as required for the discipline
- Initial appointment at the rank of Instructor requires a Master’s or terminal degree in the discipline taught or a related field
- For Adjunct Assistant Professor, requires a terminal degree in the discipline taught or a related field, or a Master’s degree in the discipline and in the process of completing the terminal degree
