Job Summary

Teach undergraduate college-level courses in Physics during the Fall 2026 semester. Manage course logistics by keeping records, posting mid-term and final grades, submitting attendance, and maintaining regular office hours. Perform other duties as assigned by the department head. This part-time, non-tenure track position requires a Master's degree in Physics or related field with 1-2 years of applied field experience. A Ph.D. degree and three plus years of teaching experience in college-level courses are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physics or related field
  • 1-2 years' experience in applied field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Subject to a criminal history investigation
  • Employment contingent upon the institution's verification of credentials

Desired Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Physics
  • 3 plus years' of experience in teaching college level courses in chemistry
