Job Summary

Teach undergraduate college-level courses in Physics during the Fall 2026 semester. Keep records, post grades for mid-term and final exams, and submit attendance data. Post and maintain regular office hours. Perform other duties as assigned by the department head. This part-time, non-tenure track position requires a Master's degree in Physics or related field with 1-2 years of experience in an applied field. A Ph.D. is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physics or related field
  • 1-2 years' experience in applied field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to teach college level courses in Physics
  • Ability to keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance
  • Ability to post and maintain regular office hours
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by department head
  • Ability to pass a criminal history investigation
  • Ability to have credentials verified by the institution

Desired Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Physics
  • 3 plus years' of experience in teaching college level courses in chemistry
