Job Summary
Teach undergraduate college-level courses in Physics during the Fall 2026 semester. Keep records, post grades for mid-term and final exams, and submit attendance data. Post and maintain regular office hours. Perform other duties as assigned by the department head. This part-time, non-tenure track position requires a Master's degree in Physics or related field with 1-2 years of experience in an applied field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics or related field
- 1-2 years' experience in applied field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to teach college level courses in Physics
- Ability to keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance
- Ability to post and maintain regular office hours
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned by department head
- Ability to pass a criminal history investigation
- Ability to have credentials verified by the institution
Desired Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Physics
- 3 plus years' of experience in teaching college level courses in chemistry
