Job Summary
Tarleton State University seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Philosophy to deliver undergraduate and graduate-level instruction as part of a vibrant academic community. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and delivering lectures, developing course syllabi, assessing student performance, and providing academic support through office hours. Candidates must have a master's degree in Philosophy or a closely related field with excellent communication skills. Preference given to those with online teaching experience and a doctorate in the field. This is a part-time, temporary position for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Required Qualifications
- Earned masters degree in Philosophy or a closely related field from an accredited university with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

- Previous online teaching experience at the collegiate level
