Job Summary
Part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach Welding courses at Sussex County Community College; responsibilities include delivering instruction in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Plasma cutting and Oxy-Acetylene cutting; develop lesson plans aligned with Course Learning Outcomes; enforce safety protocols and PPE usage; maintain/enter grades in the LMS and communicate with students and department members; comfortable with one-on-one and group instruction; attend faculty/staff meetings; available for day shifts (8:00–12:30 or 12:30–5:15). Adjutant pay is based on $910 per credit hour; location is Newton, NJ; part-time role; equal opportunity employer.

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the welding field.
