Job Summary
Instruct college students in CNC machining techniques and educational theories. Responsibilities include developing curricula, assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and maintaining college and department standards. Candidates should possess an Associate degree in CNC/machining technology or related disciplines, NIMS certification, and at least two years of relevant experience. A background check and drug screening may be required, and applications must include official or unofficial transcripts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in CNC/machining technology or related discipline and related industry experience
- NIMS: Level 1 Lathe and Mill certified
- Mastercam Associate level certification
- Minimum two years of verifiable experience working in CNC machining as an operator or set-up programmer capacity
- Two or more years of related industry experience and teaching/training experience
Additional Requirements
- Background Check/ Drug Screen may be required based on the specific requirements of the position
- Employment is contingent upon passing a drug test and completing a criminal background investigation
