Job Summary
Criminal Justice adjunct faculty to teach courses in Paralegal Studies and related areas. Develop instructional materials; plan and organize instruction; prepare syllabi and teach classes in a manner that enhances student learning. Relevant duties include meeting classes as scheduled, being accessible to students through email/phone/office hours, evaluating student work, maintaining accurate records in the LMS, and providing constructive feedback. Must demonstrate proficiency in Criminal Justice subject matter, stay current with teaching techniques for both onsite and virtual learning, and uphold confidentiality and professional standards; requires field experience with certifications or extensive training in the subject field, as well as the ability to teach across in-person and online modalities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- 5 years CRMJ-related work experience
- Ability to develop instructional materials, prepare syllabi, and teach both onsite and via virtual learning (LMS)
- Proficiency in evaluating student work and maintaining records; professional and ethical conduct; ability to communicate with students via email/phone/office hours
