Job Summary
Part-time, non-tenure track Adjunct Instructor to teach Introduction to Health and Wellness (EXSC 110) for Xavier University’s Exercise Science program. Teaches one three-credit hour class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM (Start 8/17, End 12/11) using Canvas to manage course information and progress. Responsibilities include delivering in-person, learning-centered instruction, preparing course materials and a syllabus, and designing assessments aligned with Xavier’s Core Curriculum. Applicants must submit a cover letter, CV/resume, and three professional references via Xavier University’s website. Minimum qualifications include a master’s or terminal degree or 18 graduate credits in Exercise Science-related fields, or at least 5 years of field experience with a relevant certification and/or prior college teaching experience. Desired Qualifications
- master’s or terminal degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Nutrition, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Motor Behavior; or minimum of 5 years of experience in the exercise science field with a relevant certification; or previous college/university teaching experience; or 18 graduate credits in one of the fields
