Job Summary
Instruct Nursing Chemistry Fundamentals, delivering lectures and leading 2-hour hands-on laboratory sessions with recitation components. Prepare and deliver course materials including assignments and assessments aligned with departmental learning goals while maintaining course records and submitting grades. Provide students with regular performance feedback and remain available during office hours or by appointment. Utilize the College learning management system to deliver instruction and coordinate with course coordinators and laboratory staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Demonstrated experience within the field of Chemistry
- Must have computer skills to include knowledgeable use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Show proficiency in oral and written communications with the ability to generate high-quality classroom materials
- Demonstrate the ability to clearly and engagingly present information, lead class activities, and facilitate student learning
- Have leadership abilities to guide students in hands-on, design, or technology management in the laboratory setting
- Demonstrate commitment to student success and academic excellence
