Adjunct Instructor – Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (Hybrid)

Job Summary

Facilitate immersive laboratory experiences, assist with laboratory instruction, or teach didactic courses in areas such as Structural Human Anatomy, Biomechanics, Neuroscience, Diagnostic Imaging, and the management of musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. Coordinate course administrative duties including grading student work, loading assessments and lecture modules, meeting with students, and submitting grades in a timely manner. This appointment is part-time, per-semester, and available for selection as instructional needs arise for Fall 2028 through Spring 2030. Candidates must hold an earned Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and an active, unencumbered physical therapist license.

Required Qualifications

  • An earned Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or other academic doctoral degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
  • A current, active, and unencumbered physical therapist license in any United States jurisdiction
  • Demonstrated content expertise appropriate for the assigned teaching responsibilities

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Board certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) or other specialty certifications (e.g., OCS, SCS, NCS, PCS, CCS, GCS, WCS)
