Job Summary
Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline-related curricula, assesses student learning, participates in program evaluation, and engages in college activities. Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan. This in-person role requires a Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Biology, with work schedule varying according to teaching assignment. Located in Florida, Palm Beach State College serves 49,000 students annually across five locations, offering bachelor's and associate degrees alongside workforce development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Biology
- Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Biology
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Biology
- Located in Florida
- Available to teach in-person classes on campus
- Located in Florida & available to teach in-person classes on campus
- Attached copies of official transcripts or non-web-based unofficial transcripts
- Official copy or a college-stamped student copy or a non-web-based unofficial transcript, scanned into an electronic format
- Transcripts produced through web-based student systems will not be accepted
- Passing a drug test
- Completing a criminal background investigation
