Job Summary
Adjunct Instructor needed to facilitate live virtual courses for adult learners at Outreach Training Institute. Deliver curriculum using provided materials, lead discussions and activities, manage virtual classrooms, and support learner engagement. Requires interpreting complex behavioral health concepts for practical application and collaborating with staff on learner progress. Must hold a Master’s degree or higher and have formal teaching/training experience in relevant settings; experience with online platforms and facilitating virtual learning is essential. Curriculum and training materials are provided. Morning and evening teaching opportunities available; part-time role with orientation and periodic faculty meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, Education, or a related field
- Formal teaching, training, or instructional experience in academic, professional development, workforce development, or continuing education settings
- Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders
- Experience facilitating virtual learning environments and using online learning platforms
- Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
