Job Summary

Teach college-level chemistry laboratory courses for the Fall 2026 semester. Keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), and submit attendance. Post and maintain regular office hours. Perform other duties as assigned by the department head. This part-time non-tenure track position requires a Master's in Chemistry and 1-2 years of teaching experience in an applied field. A Ph.D. in Chemistry and three years of college-level teaching experience are preferred. The salary is commensurate with education and experience within the assigned range.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters in Chemistry
  • 1-2 years of teaching experience in applied field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use technology to teach undergraduate courses
  • Subject to a criminal history investigation
  • Employment contingent upon the institution's verification of credentials

  • 3 years experience in teaching college level courses in Chemistry
