Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary
Adjunct Instructor position (part-time, fully remote) for live virtual training courses. Facilitate online classes using provided curriculum, create an engaging online learning environment, lead discussions and activities to promote learner participation and knowledge retention, maintain inclusive classroom standards, provide timely communication and support to students, collaborate with staff on learner progress, and attend orientation and faculty meetings. Requires a Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, Education, or related field, plus demonstrated formal teaching or instructional experience in academic or workforce development settings and experience with individuals affected by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Prior experience facilitating virtual learning and using online platforms, strong presentation and facilitation skills, and comfort teaching adult learners are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, Education, or a related field
- Demonstrated formal teaching, training, or instructional experience in academic, professional development, workforce development, or continuing education settings
- Experience with individuals affected by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders
- Experience facilitating virtual learning environments and using online learning platforms
- Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
