Job Summary
Teach GRCC course offerings in Theater while following the required syllabus template and designated textbook. State course outcomes clearly at the beginning of the course and establish criteria for evaluating student attainment. Promote an intellectually stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to high academic achievement and maintain accurate student academic records. Report grades by the contractual deadline and make reasonable accommodations for students as approved by Disability Support Services in compliance with the ADA. Follow College policy on FERPA and respond to student communications in a timely manner. Perform tasks normally expected of adjunct faculty members, including evening work for rehearsals or class preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Theater or related field from an accredited institution
- Bachelor's degree in the specific area
- demonstrated relevant experience
- Only adjunct faculty living in the state of Michigan
