Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct Faculty position at Terra State Community College focused on teaching CAD courses. Responsibilities include planning and delivering CAD instruction (introductory 2-D drawings, advanced drafting and dimensioning techniques, as well as complex orthographic and isometric drawings) on campus with potential future online options, staying current with subject matter and instructional methods, using assessments to measure student performance, communicating progress to students, and determining grades per college policies. Requires an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field, plus two years of AutoCAD or DraftSight and SolidWorks experience; teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Skills needed include effective one-on-one and group communication, proficiency with word processing/presentation tools, ability to work with a diverse student body, capability to teach in more than one discipline, and strong verbal/written/listening communication and problem solving abilities.
