Adjunct Faculty – Surgical Technology

Adjunct Faculty – Surgical Technology at Ivy Tech South Bend campus, a part-time teaching role for the Fall 2026 semester. Responsibilities include delivering Surgical Technology courses, developing and maintaining course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; utilizing technology to enhance instruction; maintaining accurate student records and grades; engaging with students to support retention and successful program completion; promoting active classroom teaching strategies within FERPA-compliant policies; and contributing to student recruitment, advising, and support as part of a diverse, inclusive college environment. Requires knowledge of instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning, plus current BLS certification and a national credential in Surgical Technology through a CAAHEP-accredited program; five years of operating room scrub or instructional experience in the past ten years is preferred alongside college-level teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree.
