Adjunct Faculty - Statistics

Job Summary
Teach statistics courses in-person, online, and in labs using lectures, demonstrations, and audiovisual aids while maintaining an established curriculum. Keep students engaged, manage classroom behavior, and establish clear learning objectives to meet performance goals. Evaluate student progress through tests, projects, and oral assessments, while identifying at-risk students for referral to the Student Success Coordinator. Provide individual advisement, tutoring, and mentoring as needed. Grade assignments, maintain grade books, track attendance, and participate in required professional development activities and academic committees.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' degree or higher from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area
- Master's degree in the discipline OR a Master's degree (any discipline) with 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework relevant to the discipline
- Two years of practical experience in the course content area with a related degree
- Three years of practical experience if the degree is in an unrelated field
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of work experience as an educator
