Adjunct Faculty - Statistics

Job Summary
Conduct in-person and online instruction in statistics using lectures, demonstrations, and audiovisual aids to engage students and evaluate their achievements. Maintain a positive educational climate by establishing clear objectives, managing student behavior, and identifying at-risk individuals for referral to the Student Success Coordinator. Grade assessments, track attendance, and provide individual tutoring and academic counseling as needed. Administer oral, written, or performance tests to measure progress and evaluate training effectiveness. Participate in ongoing conferences, seminars, and training sessions to support professional development. Provide input on academic committees focused on program enrichment.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' degree or higher from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area
- Master's degree in the discipline OR a Master's degree (any discipline) with 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework relevant to the discipline
- Two years of practical experience in the course content area with a related degree
- Three years of practical experience if the degree is in an unrelated field
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of work experience as an educator
