Job Summary
Teach courses in one of the following subject areas: BSN, BSN Accelerated, BSN Evening and Weekend; ADN, ADN LPN-RN Transition. Responsibilities include classroom and online instruction, assessing student learning, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere. Instructors are expected to utilize current knowledge of the discipline and respond effectively to a diverse range of learners. A master's degree is required, along with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the relevant field.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the discipline or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the subject area
- Doctorate degree for courses leading to a master’s
- Minimum of an associate’s degree and related work experience for instructors in occupational and technical areas
Desired Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience
