Job Summary
Adjunct faculty to teach Studio Art, Web Design, and Graphic Design online and on-campus in the undergraduate Art, Design and Theatre program. Responsibilities include delivering courses per objectives and syllabus, providing timely feedback to students, maintaining professional credentials, and adhering to instructional standards. Prioritize online delivery (Canvas) and effective communication; background checks and alignment with Cedarville University’s Doctrinal Statement and Community Covenant required. Positions are temporary, part-time adjunct roles primarily located in Cedarville, OH, with possible remote work in certain states (excluding CA and HI).
Required Qualifications
- M.F.A. in Studio Art, Graphic Design, Web Design or a bachelor’s degree with active pursuit of M.F.A.
- Demonstrable professional expertise and experience in the discipline to be taught
- Documented successful teaching experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Competency in online delivery systems, with preference given to prior experience with Canvas
- Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian
