Job Summary
Teach pertinent course content for the radiography major, including core curriculum, patient care, positioning, equipment, clinical experience, and general review through demonstrations, class discussion, and other educational delivery modes. Prepare daily schedules for the syllabus and develop course and lesson plans. Supervise multiple clinical sites and conduct competency reviews. Applications are reviewed periodically based on student enrollment needs, with hiring decisions made at the department's discretion. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree, ARRT registration, and a Maryland State License.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Successful teaching record
- ARRT Registered Technologist
- Maryland State License
- Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population of students both in and outside the classroom
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of the university's philosophy and mission and commitment to it
