Job Summary
Teach doctoral-level quantitative research and statistics courses in online, hybrid, or face-to-face formats while facilitating student learning using evidence-based instructional practices. Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments, maintain regular communication through the learning management system, and hold virtual office hours for academic support. Evaluate student performance according to university grading policies, submit grades by established deadlines, and maintain accurate academic records. Collaborate with leadership to ensure course quality and support students in developing research proposals and interpreting quantitative findings. Earned doctorate and demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods are required.
Required Qualifications
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., DBA, or equivalent) from a regionally accredited institution
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis
- Experience teaching graduate or doctoral-level research methodology courses
- Experience using statistical software such as SPSS, etc
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience teaching in online learning environments using learning management systems such as Canvas
Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years of graduate-level teaching experience
- Experience chairing or serving on doctoral dissertation committees
- Record of scholarly publications
- Experience mentoring doctoral students through the dissertation process
- Familiarity with APA 7th edition guidelines
