Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty teaches live lectures to paralegal students at the Dallas campus, develops and manages syllabi to meet department/college standards, plans lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments, and assesses student grades. Responsibilities include mentoring students and performing other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements: Juris Doctorate, three years of legal practice experience, and bar licensure; strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others. Required Qualifications
- Education: Juris Doctorate
- Experience: Three years of experience practicing law
- Must have previous experience working with paralegals/legal assistants
- Licensed by a state bar
- College or University teaching experience (preferred)
- Evidence of teaching excellence (preferred)
- Prior relevant industry experience (preferred)
