Job Summary
Manage online courses by teaching paralegal students via live lectures, developing syllabi, and creating assignments. Assess grades based on participation and performance, while assisting and mentoring students as needed. Attend faculty meetings and complete other duties assigned. Requires a Juris Doctorate, three years of law practice experience, and a state bar license. Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate
- Three years of experience practicing law
- Previous experience working with paralegals/legal assistants
- Knowledge of and current subject matter of assigned courses
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to learn online platforms and conduct virtual meetings with students
- Licensed by a state bar
Desired Qualifications
- Prior College or University teaching experience
- Other teaching experience related to the legal field
- Evidence of teaching excellence
- Online or hybrid teaching experience
