Job Summary
Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of Obstetrics course outcomes through learning-centered instruction that aligns with South University's curriculum model. Design and deliver instructional plans, including online courses, while effectively utilizing technology to support the student learning experience. Manage the educational environment by keeping accurate records, submitting grades on time, and enforcing academic policies. Relate professional and industry experience to learning by continuing technical skills development and introducing industry perspectives into courses. Participate in faculty development processes, curriculum task forces, and campus events such as orientation and graduation. Communicate consistently with supervisors, faculty, and administrators to support the academic program's stature.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- terminal degree
- Zero to two years' experience in instruction or formalized education process
- Experience in Obstetrics
- Unencumbered RN nursing License
