Adjunct Faculty - Nursing

Part-time Nursing Adjunct faculty member in the ASN program at Ivy Tech Madison. Responsible for teaching assigned classes, developing syllabus appropriate to course(s) taught, maintaining attendance and grading records, being available outside scheduled class time to assist students, using technology such as Canvas and PowerPoint, meeting scheduled classes, and communicating with the program chair as needed. Requires strong working knowledge of current technologies for instruction and RN credentials as applicable to the ASN program. Emphasizes promoting diversity and inclusive learning, and adhering to college policies and timelines. Provides instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi and follows syllabus content and requirements; may include advising and supporting students, and collaborating with the program coordinator to resolve issues.
