Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty - Math: teach introductory mathematics courses (Finite Mathematics, Mathematics in Society, Mathematics for Elementary Teachers, Discrete Mathematics, Precalculus, Developmental Mathematics) as part of Augsburg University’s adjunct pool for 2026. Most classes are in-person on the Minneapolis campus, 12-15 hours/week for 15-16 weeks. Responsibilities include teaching, grading, holding office hours, communicating with the course coordinator, and following the syllabus and calendar provided. The role is part-time; compensation per undergraduate course ranges between $5,800 and $6,175 for the 2025-26 academic year. Eligible for retirement contribution matches and employee tuition/discount programs. Adjuncts must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin. A Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, or related field is preferred; licensure to teach Mathematics in Grades 9-12 is also accepted for most courses.
