Job Summary
Provide course instruction in accordance with institutionally-approved learning outcomes by advancing student learning through exemplary teaching, modeling effective oral and written communication, and facilitating organized course activities. Establish clear expectations, encourage critical thinking, and ensure content aligns with student learning objectives while demonstrating consistency and fairness in grading. Deliver timely feedback and continuously improve instructional quality by reviewing innovative methodologies, instructional technology, and distance education to enhance student learning and retention. Maintain student records as required by NCMC, remain current with subject-matter and teaching strategies, and attend meetings and college functions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in area of assignment
- any Master's degree with at least 18 hours of graduate courses in area of concentration
- Bachelor's degree
- equivalent professional experience in the field
