Job Summary

Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes while maintaining attendance and grading records per College policy. Provide syllabus content appropriate to contracted courses and submit requested information within established timelines. Remain available outside scheduled class time to answer questions, provide assistance, and resolve student concerns with the program coordinator. Conduct all activities using technology such as Ivy Learn and PowerPoint, ensuring an environment of respect for diversity. Notify the program or department chair in the event of emergency absence.

Required Qualifications

  • Earned baccalaureate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution in technology, engineering, engineering technology
  • Earned baccalaureate or higher degree directly related to the program's discipline
  • Earned associate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution directly related to the program's discipline
  • Any specialized certifications required for the class being taught as indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
  • Two years of directly related work experience that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
  • Five years of directly related work experience that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
  • Department of Labor, Bureau for Apprenticeship Training recognized journeyman's card in the discipline directly related to credentials, certifications, and competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
  • Journeyman status for two years or more with experience that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
  • 5 years directly related work experience in the field that is specifically linked to the Course Learning Objectives (CLOs)
  • Current Workplace Specialist License, Technology Education License (Technology and Engineering Education, Engineering and Technology Education), or CTE: Trade & Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing License granted by the Indiana Department of Education appropriate to course objectives and directly linked to credentials, certifications, and competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
